My favorite guidebook is the DK Eyewitness London guidebook because I like looking at pictures, too. I don't like guidebooks that are nothing but text. My favorite London map is the Penguin London Mapguide by Michael Middleditch. It's much easier to read on the go than the often recommended A-Z maps. I never go to London without mine.
